The QPS has provided an initial allocation of $200,000, to be shared amongst Districts and Commands, to implement the Our People Matter strategy at a local level.
This funding will help facilitate locally-driven Our People Matter activities, events and initiatives to engage and benefit QPS employees and their families.
The funding period is for the 2019-20 financial year (1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020).
It is expected the Principal Workplace Champion/s of each District and Command, together with their local Our People Matter Committee, will make decisions on, and manage the expenditure of the allocated funding withing their District or Command.
PSBA Finance have created a dedicated Our People Matter cost centre code for each District and Command to assist in the reporting of funds spent.
